Malaria is a vector borne disease caused by the protozoan Plasmodium. It is transmitted during bites by female Anophelus mosquito. The parasite multiplies within the red blood cells and eventually destroying them. Malaria is one of the most dangerous and widespread diseases. It is known throughout the tropical and subtropical region and infects around 500 million each year causing between one and three million deaths.
