During the period of Nazi Germany numerous scientists from foreign countries were working between 1933-1945 for German Universities. A congress of historians from Denmark, Germany, Canada, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden will take place from the 27th-29th of March, examining this unknown chapter of science history.
Next to the question of different research fields during the war (thus serving german military demands during world war II) the situation of jewish stemming german scientists is considered in a symposium of talks. More details see: http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~uhwg/ForeignScientists.html
