Eyes are our most important sense organs. (Courtesy: Photocase) Smelling, hearing, vision, degustation are sensory systems of the body which usually are considered differently. With the coming congress "Molecular Medicine of Sensory Systems" at the university of Tuebingen, Germany, this will change. Scientists from all over the world will join this meeting from 18 - 20th may 2008 to bring together their findings.
What do have ears, eyes, noses and tongue in common? What conclusions
can be drawn from insights of neuro sensory research on single sense
organs which account for all?
More than 100 scientists will adress these questions in talks and
posters following an invitation by the oldest scientific society: The
Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina (German academy of
natural scientists of the Leopoldina = University of Tuebingen) was
founded in the year 1653 and conducts this important international
meeting.
